A one-hour family plan

Pick a one-hour court slot, invite one other pair and let the game give the morning some shape. The rest of the day can stay unplanned.

Choose doubles when four people are ready to play. Match the speed to the newest player and switch partners so the same pair does not dominate every game.

Send the player count, preferred date and time, then wait for confirmation before travelling. Use live directions from your part of PCMC and share the exact venue pin with the whole group.

Why four people is enough

Two people on each side is all a doubles game needs. A family of four can arrive as a complete group without waiting for another team.

Split the ₹600 hourly court price and focus on keeping the ball alive. If ages or experience differ, use cooperative rallies before scoring.

Keeping sibling games friendly

Siblings can compete hard, so change the task before every rally becomes an argument. Pair them together for one game and opposite each other for the next.

Use rally counts, target areas and mixed-age partners. Adults should set the tone on line calls and stop the game when frustration takes over.

A simple Sunday-morning schedule

Choose the court time first, then build breakfast or errands around it. Keeping the plan compact makes it easier for the group to say yes.

Arrive early, warm up without keeping score and play short doubles games. Confirm weekend availability because popular times can fill.

Trying pickleball as a double date

Four people fit a doubles court perfectly. It is active enough to feel like an outing and relaxed enough for conversation between games.

Keep the first match short, swap partners and avoid choosing teams by who already plays racket sports. Ask about paddles when booking.
